Ordering for May 2025
How to Order a Custom Portrait:
1) Click "size" and change it to a size of your liking to see the price. Prices are the same for all animals and people, close up and full body. Larger portraits will have more detail, as will a close up portrait.
2) Click "Single Subject" and change it to however many subjects you would like on the same page. Usually, it is better to order separate portraits for each so they have their own space. If you'd like more than 5 together, or if there’s a huge size difference between subjects, email me.
3) Check that the wait time works for you. You are ordering this portrait for: May 2025. To see if you might be able to get a portrait from me faster, please click “back” and see if there are any “Pastel Sketches” available.
4) Add to cart, and place order!
5) Email or text me the reference photos before the 1st of the month you ordered for. The photos should be as high definition as possible (means no screenshots!), and should have good lighting. The better the reference, the better the portrait. If you don't have great pictures of a pet that has passed, it's okay, we'll find a way. However, if there is only a really blurry photo of a person, I will probably have to decline because it’s important that I get their every feature right.
I will update you when I start and share the whole process with you as well as with my Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Patreon followers. If you need it kept a secret (maybe it's a present and the person follows me), please let me know in advance:)
Finally, sometime during the month you ordered for, I will complete and ship your portrait to you after your approval.
Other Information:
This portrait will be made with pastel sticks and pastel pencils on pastelmat paper, a thick card-like paper which you will frame in glass once it is shipped to you in a box. The portrait does not come framed, as glass will break in shipping.
Cancelation policy: Because I am designating a time in my schedule to complete the portrait, I am unfortunately unable to offer refunds. However, if I am unable to complete the portrait (for example if I injure my hand), I will give full refunds.
Common FAQ:
Q: Can you draw my bird?
A: Yes, I can draw fur, scales, skin, and feathers. I can also draw humans but I need extra clear reference photos!
Q: How do you protect the art during shipping?
A: I prevent any smudging by using glassine paper on top, and then I ship the portraits in boxes with plenty of packaging. Packages are insured full value during shipment.
Q: I'm from the UK, can I order a portrait?
A: If the website lets you fill in your address, I’m able to ship there! US, UK, Canada, and Australia are places I regularly ship.
Q: Can I order for Christmas?
Yes, slots for Christmas 2024 are available!
Q: Do you offer smaller portraits?
A: Not currently, because I can't get much detail in the smaller ones, but check back later!
Q: Can I pay in deposits?
A: As long as 100% is paid by the time I start, yes we can split it up however you like. Email me for payment plans.
